Information about the Guided Tour:
- We will dock at the pier in the ancient fishing village of Cill Rónáin and priorities first we will have a quick coffee break and give ourselves a chance to get our bearings. After this we will then head off across the island by foot.
- While you are enjoying your coffee you will get the sense that you have arrived in a very unique and special place.
- The Island is a natural open museum with prehistoric sites, medieval monastic settlements, early Celtic Christian monuments, miles of beautiful drystone walls, built over centuries, with large sea bird colonies living in some of the highest sea cliffs in Europe.
