Day 1 Rugged Walking Tour : This is a 7/8 hour guided tour along the back roads and coastal paths of rugged Connemara and will require sturdy walking boots, rain gear, water and a packed lunch. We are a team of local guides with years of experience working as archaeologists, historians and mountain leaders. We have extensive local knowledge of our beautiful Connemara and the jewels in the crown of The Wild Atlantic Way, the world renowned Aran Islands.
Day 2 Aran Island Heritage Walk: We will dock at the pier in the ancient fishing village of Cill Rónáin and priorities first we will have a quick coffee break and give ourselves a chance to get our bearings. After this we will then get on a private tour bus and head off across the island. The Island is a natural open museum with prehistoric sites, medieval monastic settlements, early Celtic Christian monuments, miles of beautiful drystone walls, built over centuries, with large sea bird colonies living in some of the highest sea cliffs in Europe
