St McDara’s Festival

St McDara’s Festival Saint McDara’s Island (Oilean Mhic Dara) is situated of the coast of Carna which has McDara’s church and grave on it. Every year on the 16th of July (Feast Day) there is a pilgrimage mass on the island where everyone travels by boat to the island for Mass.
